I was afraid it wouldn't fit my Tempur-pedic mattress that is on an adjustable bed, but it did! No problems with ripping when I adjust the bed up and down. I needed another person to help put it on, although that was mostly to help move the mattress around, not because the product was hard to put on. I do feel safer knowing that my mattress is protected from buggies. If you have bedbugs or are worried about getting them you need to purchase the Saferest encasement. After finding out friends of my sons have them and have been battling them for over a year I couldn't sleep and was paranoid to the point of losing sleep. So I purchased encasement for all the beds in the home and called an exterminator just to be safe. Maybe over kill but I don't want to risk getting those little suckers in my home and in all my belongings. This encasement went on easily and quickly and is even better than I thought it would be. They installed easily and seemed to be a quality product. The stitching on the zipper seemed strong. I have read too many horrow stories of the extreme expense involved in ridding these pests so I am hoping that these can help prevent that. I always check hotel beds for signs of bed bugs but all it takes if one hitchhiker! The fabric was a bit a stretch to it and the item seems to be of very good quality. I would hghly recommend these.
