No more body impressions like my expensive pillow top I had before this Spirit Sleep! No more waking up with sore shoulders, back, & hips! I was skeptical to try it because I had slept on a Temperpedic for a week & it was too firm for me but the Spirit Sleep is softer - but not too soft. Like other reviews, I just put it on top of my old box foundation. Another thing I like about it is there is hardly any movement at all! I do not feel the bed move when my hubby tosses & turns! The only negative thing I can think of this mattress would be, that it is warmer to sleep on than other types of mattresses but that is due the nature of memory foam, it conforms to your body with your body heat & it is firmer when the room is cold but softens as you lay on it. I am going to be buying a full size Spirit Sleep mattress for my spare room. I will never go back to spring mattresses!

Comfortable but still smells, March 16, 2011 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Spirit Sleep Serenity Theratouch 10-Inch Memory Foam King Mattress (Kitchen) I've had this bed for a little over two weeks now and while it is comfortable it still emits an unpleasant odor. The instructions that came with the mattress indicate that the smell should dissipate in about a week. Heeding the directions, I actually left the mattress in a separate room, removed from its packaging, for a week. Unfortunately, 2 weeks later it still has an unpleasant smell (a chemical like odor). The odor is unpleasant enough to actually wake me up at night prompting me to open up a window. Also, the odor will transfer to your clothes until you wash them. So much for a good night's rest (I would have given it 4 stars were it not for the smell). It should be noted that my last mattress (from 7 years ago) was also of memory foam construction and the smell associated with that one went away after a few days (and wasn't as unpleasant as this one). I'm really disappointed.
